I played Mafia 2 as a standalone game; I hadn't played the first one before. Therefore, I made no comparisons either during the game or after finishing it. And I still really like the game.
I'm writing as someone who doesn't have 100% vision, and maybe that's why I still like the graphics.
I also like the story/plot in the game. I don't replay the vast majority of games, but I've completed this one three times, and I've played it a few more times just to drive around, walk around, find magazines, and so on. I like the car controls, especially in winter; I like the speed limiter; I don't remember it in other games, and I really miss it when playing on a keyboard.
I also played the DLC for it, but I didn't really like them—you just run, shoot, and drive around the same city.
Players of the 2000s and early 2010s already know it, but if someone who started playing in the 20s is reading this review and doesn't know it, at the very least, it's worth taking a closer look and giving it a chance.
В Mafia 2 я играл как самостоятельный продукт, до нее я не играл в первую часть. Соответственно, никаких сравнений ни во время игры, ни после ее завершения я делал. И игра мне очень нравится и сегодня.
Я пишу, как человек с не со 100% зрением, и, может поэтому, графика в игре мне даже сегодня нравится.
История/сюжет в игре мне тоже нравится. Подавляющее большинство игр я не перепрохожу, но эту полностью проходил 3 раза, еще несколько раз играл, чтобы покататься, походить, находить журналы и т.д. Нравится в игре управление автомобилем, особенно в зимнее время; нравится наличие лимитатора скорости, в других играх не помню его, а его очень не хватает, когда играешь на клавиатуре.
DLC к ней также проходил, но они мне не очень понравились — чисто бегаешь, стреляешь, ездишь по тому же городу.
Игрокам 00-х и начала 10-х она и так известна, а если этот отзыв читает тот, кто начал играть в 20х и не знает ее — как минимум, она стоит того, чтобы к ней присмотрелись, дали шанс
