Magin: The Rat Project Stories

A narrative adventure in a dark fantasy world, combining exploration, choices, and card battles with deck building. The action takes place in a grim universe at the intersection of magic and the emerging industrial age, where a force called Essence is tied to the emotions and inner states of the characters.

The player controls two heroes — the sorcerer-assassin Elester and the young Tolen — whose abilities and decisions affect the development of the story. The game features atmospheric locations with the possibility to explore the environment and interact with objects, battles against opponents through a card system, as well as mechanics for managing Essence, where the characters' emotions are reflected in gameplay and narrative. As the game progresses, the deck is formed and improved, including special double-sided cards that depend on the decisions made. The visual style is executed in a comic book aesthetic, and the narrative is accompanied by full voice acting.
