The main character is the chosen one of Death itself — detective Pablo Cruz. He was entrusted with the task of returning a powerful amulet that gives power over the world of the dead. Armed with the mighty La Sombra and a Mariachi suit imbued with supernatural powers, he descends into the underworld and battles the Mariachi legends and their minions before it's too late.
