Marvin's Mittens is a 2D platformer about exploring a snowy world and searching for a missing mitten. As Marvin, the player ventures beyond the backyard into a landscape free of enemies and danger, uncovering the secrets of snow elf magic.

Collecting magic snowflakes increases Marvin's jump height and opens access to new areas. The player can sled down hills, find jumps to reach new places, and sneak up on wildlife to add animals to Marvin's sketchbook. Collectibles encourage revisiting areas and finding shortcuts before Marvin's mother calls him home.
