This role-playing game takes place in a futuristic cyberworld, where Lan and his friend Mega Man.exe fight viruses and other enemies on the Internet. Instead of following the structure of earlier entries, the game uses a tournament system in which the heroes face a range of opponents. The new Soul Unison system lets Mega Man transform into enemies he has defeated, while Red Sun differs from Blue Moon in its enemies, Battle Chips, souls, and characters.
