This futuristic action game follows bounty hunter Samus Aran as she explores a derelict space station and uncovers a story about her past. Exploration draws on the series’ 2D side-scrolling roots, with Samus navigating the station’s twisting passages and searching for clues and hidden routes in 3D.

Combat is played from a third-person perspective, while aiming at the screen switches to a first-person view for firing at enemies. The perspective can change during exploration and battles.
