L'Alpe D'Huez Airport — LFHU.
The Alpe D'Huez Airport features a paved runway measuring 1500 feet long with a slope reminiscent of Courchevel. The airport is situated high on the famous mountain slope and overlooks the valley below with a steep drop at the end of runway 24. This mod redesigns the small airport to make it more convenient and realistic.
Installation:
The installation is the same as for most mods; simply extract the folder and place it in the community folder.
Features:
- The runway and parking have been reconfigured to better mimic real life
- A control tower has been created
- Standard AI buildings have been replaced with hangars
- A windsock has been added in the appropriate location
- A fuel tank has been added
- Roads around the airport have been fixed
- The sports complex at the bottom of the runway has been corrected
- More accurate taxiway lines and runway markings have been added.
- Any artifacts from satellite images, such as parked planes and shadows, have been hidden.
- Trees have been added and removed where appropriate.
