WWII Buna Airfields.

Buna Airfield is an airfield located near Buna in Papua New Guinea. Built as an emergency landing site, it was expanded during World War II by Japanese emperors. A new runway was constructed until both runways were neutralized by Allied bombings at the end of 1942.

Аэродром Буна — это аэродром, расположенный недалеко от Буны в Папуа-Новой Гвинее. Построенный как площадка для аварийной посадки, он был расширен во время Второй мировой войны японскими императорами. Строилась новая взлетно-посадочная полоса, пока обе взлетно-посадочные полосы не были нейтрализованы бомбардировками союзников в конце 1942 года.
