A new mod for the Java version of Minecraft focuses on the coronavirus pandemic. This modification adds maps with multiple new gameplay elements that simulate a pandemic. The map was created in support of the United Nations Development Program and the Heart17 initiative.

Players will witness the spread of a zombie epidemic among ordinary citizens, which you can stop. According to the developers, they aimed to convey the fundamental principles of disease spread so that people could better understand it and the ways to combat its spread.
