PortalMod is a project that brings the atmosphere and mechanics of the Portal universe into the world of Minecraft. The mod doesn't just add a portal gun — it reimagines the elements of the original game so they feel right at home in a cubic world.

Key Features:

  • Full survival and multiplayer compatibility — play with friends, complete challenges, and build your own test chambers together.
  • Your own test chambers — the mod adds many elements from Portal, allowing you to create your own puzzles: cubes, buttons, chamber doors, Antlines — they work as an alternative to redstone.
  • Variety of mechanisms and hazards:
    Gels     — different types of coatings that change movement physics.
    Fizzlers — fields that destroy objects.
    Aerial Faith Plates — launch pads that bounce the player.
    Autoportals — automatically created portals.
    Turrets and Deadly Goo — for getting rid of unwanted test subjects.
  • Decorative blocks — white and black panels in many variants (placeable in different orientations, just like in the original game). Also added: flickering chamber lights, customizable chamber signs, platforms, beams, and iron frames for all kinds of builds.

If you're a fan of Portal and Minecraft — this mod lets you build Aperture Science labs in your own world, solve puzzles with friends, and use the portal gun in survival mode. And yes, cake is included — though, as we remember, the cake is a lie… or is it?

Installation:

  1. Download and install Minecraft Forge.
  2. Download this mod.
  3. Extract the downloaded archive to: .minecraft\mods.
