Misery is a post-apocalyptic co-op survival game in the spirit of Lethal Company, featuring procedural level generation, crafting, anomalies, monsters, and a manual gnome that you can give alcoholic drinks to. We spoke with the main developer from Platypus Entertainment, who originally worked on Misery alone, as well as a representative from the publisher Ytopia, and found out a lot of interesting things: how difficult it is to make games solo, how the idea for the project was born, and why there were so many bugs at launch.
