This episodic interactive thriller combines the style of 1990s FMV games with classic adventure gameplay. In the first episode, David Newcastle is kidnapped for an unknown reason and must escape captivity while avoiding his captors and trying to discover who took him. Meanwhile, Detective Lambert investigates a series of mysterious disappearances in the city.

Players advance both storylines by solving puzzles, finding items and responding quickly during action sequences. The story unfolds through the alternating perspectives of the two characters.
