Modbox is a multiplayer sandbox for creating games and interactive worlds together. Players can build projects for single-player, co-op, and online play, then edit and test them with others. Creations and reusable assets can also be shared with other creators.

The visual scripting system MBScript supports game logic, AI behavior, and physics through node-based and block-based tools. Projects can include destructible environments and complex mechanics, while reusable sections of a world can be assembled as prefabs. Editing tools are available during play, and local multiplayer supports split-screen.
