Mortal Kombat Trilogy is a fighting game that brings together fighters and arenas from Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II and Mortal Kombat 3, including those featured in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Its basic combat system and story are similar to Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, while the roster expands with characters and arenas from earlier entries. Many fighters also have additional special moves.

The Aggressor bar fills during a bout; once full, it makes a fighter move faster and deal more damage for a short time. The game also introduces Brutality, a finishing move in which repeated attacks end with the opponent exploding. Several characters gained new moves and finishers, and the bosses Motaro and Shao Kahn are playable.

Review about the game Mortal Kombat Trilogy

Mortal Kombat Trilogy is the first fighting game I played on PS. Even today the game doesn't look like crap. Yes, it doesn’t have super 3D graphics, but it’s not needed here. The game is mainly about the quick reaction of the players. All the classic characters are collected here. Cool character animation. The list of techniques and finishing moves is large. We even held competitions with the guys from the neighboring yard. For us, a master was considered the one who could perform brutality - one of the most difficult types of finishing moves in this fighting game

Mortal Kombat Trilogy — первый файтинг в который я поиграл на PS. Даже на сегодняшний день игра не выглядит отстойной. Да, в ней нет супер 3D графики, но она тут и не нужна. Игра в основном на быструю реакцию игроков. Все классические персонажи собраны тут. Прикольная анимация персонажей. Список приемов и добиваний большой. Мы даже с ребятами из соседнего двора на ней устраивали соревнования. У нас мастером считался тот кто сможет выполнить бруталити — один из самых сложных видов добиваний в этом файтинге

ПЛЮСЫ:

- все любимые классические персонажи и не только.

- большой ассортимент комбо ударов. Фаталити выгледят особенно интересно в этом 2D интерфейсе
