An atmospheric adventure game with elements of exploration and puzzles, set in the English countryside of 1940. The player controls a nine-year-old boy, Maddox Holloway, who is left alone with his slowly changing mother while his father is at the front during World War II. The plot focuses on personal tragedy, responsibility, and the attempt to preserve the humanity of a loved one against a backdrop of growing horror.

The gameplay combines exploration of an interconnected world, solving environmental puzzles, and simple platforming elements, with movement between locations also taking place using a bicycle. Resource management plays an important role: the player grows plants, collects ingredients, and creates items, potions, and food necessary for survival and progression in the story. The visual style is executed in a frame-by-frame hand-drawn animation format, creating an expressive and unsettling atmosphere.
