This baseball simulation makes pitching and batting depend on player attributes and their real-life strengths and weaknesses. Pitchers choose where to throw: targeting a batter’s cold zone with an accurate pitch can reduce the risk of a home run, while pitching into a hot zone can invite a dangerous hit. Batting results also depend on the hitter’s ratings, swing timing and swing type.
Computer-controlled opponents adjust their decisions to the score, inning, outs and other game conditions, while scouting reports provide player ratings and attributes. Franchise mode includes rookie drafts, player development, contracts, staff hiring and firing, and career-ending injuries. An all-new throw meter is used to control throws.
