This mod is an advanced backpack-based inventory system with extensive customization options. It is a spiritual successor to the Carry More mod for My Summer Car and completely removes the original limitation that allowed carrying only one item at a time. With this mod, multiple items can be stored and transported simultaneously.
The mod was ported from MSC and now fully supports My Winter Car.
Operating modes: Two inventory modes are available in the settings:
- Default — A realistic mode with weight and size restrictions; Allows storing many small engine parts but prevents carrying multiple large objects at once; Weight and size limits can be customized;
- Legacy — A mode that replicates the classic Carry More behavior; The inventory uses a fixed number of slots, 10 by default with a maximum of 15; Item weight and size are ignored, meaning large and small objects take the same space.
Controls (default):
- All key bindings can be reassigned in the settings;
- X — Show or hide the inventory interface;
- E — Pick up the item you are looking at and add it to the inventory;
- Y — Drop the selected item from the inventory menu; The item appears where the camera is pointing;
- Ctrl + Y — Drop all items from the inventory at once;
- Additional keys for scrolling through the item list without using the mouse are available but unassigned by default;
Important notes:
- Some items, such as objects from the pub, do not persist after reloading the game due to game mechanics;
- If important items disappear after loading a save, check the compost pit near the parents’ house and the surrounding area; The mod temporarily stores items in the air above this location, and they may fall there if loading fails;
- BepInEx and Melonloader versions are not supported;
Installation:
- Make sure MSCLoader version 1.4 or higher is installed for My Winter Car;
- Download the mod archive;
- Extract the contents into the Mods folder; This folder is usually located in the game root directory or in Documents depending on loader settings;
- Launch the game.
