This mod adds an answering machine–style voicemail system to landline phones in My Winter Car. Missed calls are no longer lost and are instead stored as voice messages that can be played back later.
Key features:
- Missed calls are converted into voicemail messages that can be listened to later;
- FIFO playback order, from the oldest message to the newest;
- New message indicator showing when unread voicemails are available;
- Persistent storage with messages saved and restored together with the game save;
- Configurable storage limit with automatic deletion of the oldest messages when the limit is reached.
Usage:
- Press the phone keypad when the new message indicator is blinking;
- During voicemail playback, picking up the handset is disabled to avoid conflicts with phone logic;
- Voicemail playback cannot be started while another phone is ringing.
Requirements:
- MSCLoader.
Installation:
- Make sure MSCLoader is installed;
- Download the mod archive;
- Extract the contents into the Mods folder located in the game directory or Documents;
- Launch the game.
