Naev is a top-down space game about exploring the galaxy, trading, and combat. Players travel between planets and moons, earning money through trade, fighting, and missions.
Combat takes place in real time, with flight physics that are partly Newtonian. Players can buy different ships and customize their equipment, while the galaxy’s factions have distinct ship designs and personalities. The game is open-source, allowing for modding.
