This open-world racing game centers on exploring Ocean City and competing on a range of tracks. In Free Roam, players can drive around the city or leave their vehicle and explore on foot; the mode also includes mini-games such as car football and stunt locations.
Race Mode features events on tracks set at different times of day, while completing races and challenges unlocks vehicles and events. Time Trial Mode focuses on setting the fastest time across routes that include off-road courses, stunt locations, and a subway station. The city has three districts linked by bridges and a tunnel, with traffic, pedestrians, a day-and-night cycle, changing weather, and dynamic lighting.
