Sweet Hamster Days Launches on Steam as a Live-Action Hamster Isekai
Kodansha's Sweet Hamster Days puts players in the paws of Kota, a student who dies in an accident and is reborn as a pet hamster named Hamuta, and it launched on Steam and the Epic Games Store on July 16, 2026.
Hamuta lives with the three Shiratori sisters, childhood friends Kota was supposed to meet again after six years. Told from a first-person view at hamster height, the game has players sleeping, eating, receiving affection, and watching the sisters' lives from a cage or straight from their hands.
