This 2D sci-fi action platformer with role-playing elements follows the Ato, a people searching Planet Shadow for a power source that could save their homeworld. The player takes the role of a rookie soldier and fights across the planet’s dangerous surface, confronting monstrous enemies and uncovering secrets surrounding the Ato invasion.
The levels are procedurally generated, and the terrain changes as the mission unfolds. Combat draws on an arsenal of alien weapons, including dual-wielding, as well as deployable turrets and mech armor. The soldier can improve skills and upgrade equipment, while missions also include activities such as racing and sharpshooting.
