The game takes place on a distant planet called Vandermire with various biomes, which is the source of the ever-expanding Corruption that threatens the entire universe. The main character of the action is a girl named Alex with a high-tech suit with artificial intelligence, one of the Space Crusaders, who went on an expedition to a dangerous planet alone. The heroine's task is to survive and find a way to contain the Corruption.
