A script mod that helps organize your installed content by sorting modifications into collapsible categories directly within the standard in-game mod list. The mod is fully integrated into the game interface—no external windows or separate programs required. You can create any number of categories, assign mods to them with a single click, and hide groups you don't need at the moment. All settings are automatically saved to a local JSON file.

Important: This modification is purely visual (QoL) for interface convenience. It does not move, modify, or delete your mod files on disk in any way.

Main features:

  • Category headers: create named groups that seamlessly fit into the standard design of the in-game mod list.
  • One-click assignment: a special "#" button on each mod's line opens a dropdown menu for instant assignment to a desired category.
  • Collapsible groups: clicking a category header hides or expands the mods inside, eliminating endless scrolling.
  • "Uncategorized" section: all new or unassigned modifications are automatically grouped at the bottom of the list under a separate header (Uncategorized).
  • Safe removal: deleting a category never deletes mod files—they are simply moved back to the general unassigned content list.
  • Persistent storage: your category structure is saved in the categories.json file and is not reset when you restart the game.

Installation instructions:

This modification requires the BepInEx 5 (Mono x64) plugin loader to be installed beforehand.

  1. Download the BepInEx 5 (Mono x64) archive and unpack its contents directly into the root folder of Paralives (where Paralives.exe is located).
  2. Run the game once so the loader can generate its folder structure, then close it.
  3. Place the downloaded ModOrganizer.dll file into the following folder: Paralives\BepInEx\plugins\ModOrganizer\.

Path check:

The final location of the plugin and save file should look like this:

  • Paralives\BepInEx\plugins\ModOrganizer\ModOrganizer.dll.
  • Paralives\BepInEx\plugins\ModOrganizer\categories.json (will appear after you create your first category).
