This fast-paced first-person retro-shooter sends the player to a mysterious extraterrestrial colony after contact with its base is lost. The protagonist enters a teleporter to investigate what happened and encounters a dangerous world that may not be as deserted as it seems. The story of the events at the colony can be followed or skipped in favor of combat.
New weapons, ranging from a shotgun to a railgun, can be found at the base, and each gun can be upgraded. Enemies run, swim, leap and dig their way out of the ground, while exploration can uncover stashes, secret areas and optional paths. Health does not regenerate, there are no navigation arrows, and progress can be saved anywhere. Graphics options include retro-effect presets.
