I jumped into Pioneer as someone who had too much expectation from a post-apocalyptic experience with guns and loot. The game isn't perfect, and that's immediately obvious: the frame rate dips in places, and enemies sometimes behave like old-school bots. But it has atmosphere. The locations are engaging, the raids are engaging, and the loot is enjoyable. For now, it's more of a solid early build than a finished product, but the game really shows potential.
