This mod completely overhauls Plants vs. Zombies, changing nearly all plants and zombies. The story has been reworked: the player teams up with a new ally—a friendly zombie—to stop the evil Zomboss from destroying the remnants of a world already covered in acid. Plants and zombies have mutated with new powers and fight each other. From the start, your new friend sets up many lawnmowers, but zombies seek alternative paths.
New difficulty modes:
- Dream Mode — activated in settings;
- Nightmare Mode — activate on a level by pressing "`" (tilde) and selecting Yes;
- Nightmare Mode++ — activate via the button on the main menu (Nightmare).
Mod features:
- Retextured plants and zombies;
- Gameplay and balance adjustments for plants and zombies;
- Added plant recharge timers;
- New difficulty levels;
- Additional locations;
- Tons of new plants with upgrades and new zombies;
- New menu buttons;
- New projectiles;
- Full Almanac localization in English and Russian;
- Disclaimer at game launch;
- New lawn mechanics;
- Retextures affecting other game elements;
- Nearly unique plants and zombies;
- Significantly extended adventure length.
Installation:
- Download the archive;
- Extract it to any folder (preferably with an English name);
- Run the exe file;
- Create a profile strictly in English.
