This VR anime adventure takes place in a future where most people have cyberbrains. Its story unfolds during a murder trial: the defendant is an agent who worked with artists to create data that lets cyberbrains interact with human emotions, and the victim is an artist named Lux.
To determine what happened, the jury relives the agent’s memory data. The story follows his interactions with Lux from his perspective and is told across five episodes. Project LUX focuses on narrative rather than presenting virtual reality as an experience-oriented simulation.
