Quantum Break is a futuristic action game with a third-person view from the creators of Alan Wake and Max Payne. The main character is endowed with incredible abilities — he can not only stop bullets flying at him, but also large ships crashing into a bridge, falling planes and trucks flying towards him.
Before us is a new hero named Jack Royce, one not so wonderful day, together with his friends Bettany Wilder and Paul Sirin, who finds himself a participant in an experiment with a time machine, which, according to all the laws of the genre, flies into tartar. But things don't go according to plan, and Jack gains the amazing ability to manipulate the passage of time. But his friend Paul is less lucky — he disappears in an explosion.
Formally, the game is divided into two parts: the first is a game itself, and the second is a series with live actors. These two parts are inextricably linked and complement each other.

So, Quantum Break. Stylish action game with its own, sometimes unique features. I'll start with the cons. Optimization. FPS drops, for no apparent reason, and on good hardware, not numerous, but bugs. Fortunately, most of the bugs were fixed, but a residue remained). But the first thing that catches your eye is the graphics. On Full HD, at maximum settings, soap immediately catches the eye. The graphics themselves are good, but it looks like the native resolution was HD. This is very disappointing considering that everything else is done well. That's all with obvious disadvantages.

Итак, Quantum Break. Стильный экшн со своими, порой уникальными фишками. Начну с минусов. Оптимизация. Дропы фпс, ни с того ни с сего, притом на неплохом железе, немногочисленные, но баги. Благо, большинство багов пофиксили, но осадочек остался). Но первое что бросается в глаза — графика. На Full HD, на максимальных настройках сразу бросается в глаза мыло. Сама графика хороша, но представление, будто родное разрешение было HD. Это очень неприятно, учитывая, что все остальное сделано хорошо. На этом с очевидными минусами всё.

Good action cinema game. The plot is very addictive. Not Bradbury, but at the same time it surprises with turns and loops.
The graphon is at the level even now. Like a movie. :)
Mixing with a real series is an interesting solution. Not scripted skating rinks, but a really well made movie and you influence the branch of the plot. Voice acting, sound, effects. Everything is at a high level.
In the scenario of 4 nodes with decision making and plot branches, I’m going through it for the first time. I will obviously try other storylines. It got delayed.

Графон на уровне даже сейчас. Как кино. :)
Замес с реальным сериалом интересное решение. Не скриптовые катки, а реально хорошо снятое кино и ты влияешь на ветвь сюжета. Озвучка, звук, эффекты. Всё на высоком уровне.
В сценарии 4узловых точки с принятием решения и оиветвления сюжета, прохожу первый раз. Явно буду пробовать другие сюжетные линии. Затянуло.

Так, ладно. Игра — отличная, Remedy молодцы, снова интересный сюжет и геймплей, а так-же отличный сериал. Но единственная причина, по которой я дропнул её на пк — кривая, ужаснейшая оптимизация. Не знаю как сейчас, возможно оптимизацию поправили, баги повиксили и т.д., но тогда мне пришлось досматривать прохождение на хуане и... было уже не то.
A game undeservedly forgotten... The plot is good, worthy of a film adaptation, but it is lame due to problems with publishers and deadlines, the gameplay is not for everyone, in my opinion, the abilities are well made and there are a million effects on the screen. The project from the word “author’s” is a pity that there is no chance of a continuation for us.
Игра, незаслуженно забытая... Сюжет хороший, достойный экранизации, но хромает из-за проблем с издателями и дедлайнов, геймплей на любителя, как по мне неплохо сделаны способности и милоион жффектов на экране. Проект от слова "авторский" жаль, что продолжение нам не светит.
This is an absolutely wonderful game. At the intersection of three genres. Quest, shooter, interactive movie.
