This arcade action game with fighting elements sends monsters from the Rampage series on a journey through the past, present, and future. The creatures seize a Scumlabs time machine and wreak havoc across different eras while scientists attempt to stop them.
The campaign divides each time period into four stages. In the first three, monsters destroy buildings in cities while avoiding enemy attacks; two computer-controlled monsters also oppose the player. Stars are awarded for damage dealt to buildings, people, and other monsters. The fourth stage is a multiplayer minigame, with rules that vary by era. Winning these minigames is required to advance in the campaign, while stars earned in the earlier stages provide extra points.
