A 3D boxing game in which fighters with colorful personalities face off in the ring. Players choose from a roster of boxers and control their fighter during matches, with more freedom of movement than in side-view boxing games.

Landing powerful blows fills the RUMBLE meter. Once it is full, a fighter can unleash a special combo called Rumble Flurry; each character has a distinct sequence of punches. Boxers also develop bruises and swellings as a fight progresses. The Dreamcast, PlayStation, and Nintendo 64 versions each include one exclusive boxer.
