Realm Grinder is an idle strategy RPG about growing a kingdom from a single farm into a vast realm that continues to earn wealth while the player is offline. Money and influence help expand the kingdom, while choosing among a dozen factions shapes its play style: elves benefit from tapping for treasure, for example, while demons grant bonuses to the most powerful buildings.

Upgrades, buildings, and spells let players further tailor their strategy. Progress unlocks additional systems, including new factions, research, reincarnations, and excavations. Achievements and trophies mark progress and can also boost certain upgrades.
