A space sandbox with action and strategy elements, Reassembly has players designing ships and exploring a procedurally generated universe. Resources are used to build and expand a fleet, which can then battle alien ships encountered across the galaxy.
The ship designer lets players alter a vessel’s shape and layout, adding weapons, shields, and armor. As the fleet grows, larger ships can produce new vessels, which can in turn create fleets of their own. In asynchronous multiplayer, ships built by other players appear in each universe, while enemies evolve and change their attributes.
