This tactical role-playing game follows a recurring struggle against the Archdemon, which returns even after a hero defeats it. The story begins with Rain, a Chosen One expected to leave an heir capable of ending the threat for good. It spans two generations: choosing a love interest changes the story’s course, while the next protagonist inherits stats and abilities from their parents.
In battle, the player assigns party members to Attacker, Defender, Supporter, or Conductor roles, and developing their classes opens up further strategic options. Growing closer to a love interest unlocks interactive illustrations, weapons, and abilities. Outfits for party members can also be crafted from items obtained from enemies or the local shop.
