A dynamic linear shooter, similar to a symbiosis of Half-Life and Halo: Combat Evolved. From the first game there is an arsenal expanded with a heavy machine gun, a thermonuclear warhead and a thermally guided rail gun. From the second - an alien setting and the presence of several means of transportation. Unfortunately, during the entire campaign we will use technology only 5 times and only in one case will we get to the surface of the planet. There is no complete destructibility in the game, but at the time of the game's release in 2001 it was sufficient.
Динамичный линейный шутер, похожий на симбиоз Half-Life и Halo: Combat Evolved. От первой игры тут арсенал, расширенный тяжелым пулеметом, термоядерной боеголовкой и рельсовой пушкой с термонаведением. От второй – инопланетный сеттинг и наличие нескольких средств передвижения. К сожалению, за всю кампанию мы только 5 раз воспользуемся техникой и лишь в одном случае выберемся на поверхность планеты. Полная разрушаемость в игре отсутствует, но на момент выхода игры в 2001 году ее было достаточно.
Another wonderful game that gave me a wonderful experience. Mechanics and gameplay features that were interesting for that year (using household appliances, reflections in mirrors, climbing, and even riding various vehicles), and excellent music that's instantly memorable during playthrough, combined to immerse you in the life of a miner on Mars.
The plot wasn't exactly "Wow!", but I enjoyed it, especially since the good cutscenes with varied tasks kept me engaged throughout the entire game; I just wanted the game to never end.
The game isn't long, but during that time you'll have time to fire all sorts of weapons, ride a drill, a machine gun-equipped vehicle, a submarine, an aircraft, mingle with doctors and high-ranking officials, and wreak havoc in the mines and complexes.

Еще одна замечательная игра, которая подарила мне приятные эмоции. Интересные для того года механики и игровые фишки (использование бытовых приборов, отражения в зеркалах, карабканья, даже на разнообразном транспорте покататься можно), отличная музыка, которая сразу запоминается при прохождении, в сумме позволили погрузиться в жизнь шахтера на Марсе.
Сюжет не прямо "Вау!", но мне зашел, тем более неплохие кат-сцены с разнообразными заданиями не давали заскучать на протяжении всего прохождения, было лишь желание, чтобы игра не заканчивалась.
Длительность игры небольшая, но за это время ты успеешь пострелять со всех видов оружия, прокатиться на буре, машине с пулеметом, подводной лодке, летательном корабле, сможешь затесаться в рядах врачей и высокопоставленных лиц, ну и поразносить все… Read full
