An arcade game set in a world of police officers who have forgotten what they are policing and why. Rooftop Cop brings together five endless vignette games linked by a loose metaphysical timeline, as the officers gradually lose their way.

Each part has a distinct task: spot minor crimes and collect citations, retrieve a flag in an environment not designed for the player, or gather evidence from apartments and find places to stash it before it crushes the protagonist. Other episodes involve collecting junk to expand a raft drifting through a flooded city, or playing in the sand and rearranging sticks on a dystopian beach.
