Runbow is a side-scrolling platformer where shifts in the colourful background affect the platforms and obstacles: anything matching the background disappears. Players navigate each level by timing their jumps and movements around these changing surroundings.

In the single-player Adventure, the goal is to save Poster District from Satura and choose a route across a map with more than 140 levels. Competitive modes support local and online matches for up to nine players, with races, arena battles, and contests to control a point. A separate, demanding challenge can also be tackled alone or with friends.
