This first-person adventure puzzle is set in Carthage in the 3rd century BC, after the city is overrun by the Romans during the First Punic War. The player must deliver a message from Salammbo, daughter of a Carthaginian commander, amid a conflict between the city's defenders and mercenaries demanding payment for their service.
The journey leads through dangerous locations, including gardens filled with poisonous fumes and Mount Solitude. The world is presented in 360-degree panoramas, while a series of 3D frescoes serves as a journal, summarizing the adventure and offering insight into ancient history.
