This third-person action fighting game follows samurai Gojiro Kiryu as he brings justice to the American West during the waning days of the Gold Rush and the construction of a transcontinental railway. Players fight through 16 missions with a sword and use Bushido Sense to dodge and deflect bullets.

The hero can be customized with ten fighting stances, each with its own special attacks and powers. Progress unlocks characters, accessories, and weapons, while Master Mode enables long hit combos. A two-player mode lets players choose between a samurai and a gunman.
