The Cult 1998 Horror Game Sanitarium Is Getting Its First-Ever Console Release — a Remaster Has Been Announced for Current Platforms
Publisher Ziggurat Interactive announced Sanitarium Enhanced, an updated edition of the psychological horror game that launched in 1998 and was named Adventure Game of the Year at the time. The remaster is being handled by Brazilian studio QUByte Interactive, with DreamForge Intertainment, the original developer, also credited on the store page. Release is planned for 2026, with no exact date yet.
