An arcade snowboarding game built around races on courses where competitors perform tricks. Points are earned for collecting items, pulling off tricks, and achieving a high ranking on each lap; certain sections of the tracks are suited to trick runs.

Successful tricks fill the SBK Meter, which unlocks special moves for each character. The game features wireless multiplayer competition, weapons, and characters, while money earned in any mode can be spent on new boards and gear.
