Section 8 is a futuristic shooter set amid wars on planets devastated by an uprising in Earth's colonies. To repel the insurgency, Earth sends in the elite 8th Armored Infantry, nicknamed Section 8; its soldiers take on perilous missions that other military units consider insane.

The squad drops from orbital ships directly into battle, equipped with advanced weapons and military hardware. Players scout and secure key objectives, break through enemy defenses, and can shape the course of combat with tactical assets and on-demand vehicle deliveries.
