This team-based multiplayer first-person shooter is set in 2021, after magic returns to the world following a 5,000-year absence. The global corporation RNA and the ancient order known as the Lineage fight to control it: RNA seeks to impose order, while the Lineage wants magic to remain free. In Shadowrun, players choose a side and battle in teams, with matches supporting up to 16 players.
At the start of each round, players can purchase weapons, technology, and magical abilities to improve their characters and expand their team’s tactical options. Abilities include spotting enemies through walls with a cybernetic eye, teleporting, and creating holographic decoys. Modern weaponry and magic combine in battles shaped by team tactics and ability choices.
