A third-person shooter based on the television series The Shield follows police operations in Farmington, a crime-ridden district. Players control Vic Mackey and his Strike Team as they take on assignments ranging from raids on crack dens to stopping bank robberies.
Missions allow Vic to intimidate suspects, use force, give and accept bribes, and plant incriminating evidence. He walks a line between enforcing and breaking the law while trying to complete assignments, retain his men’s respect, keep the police captain satisfied, build up his retirement fund, and stay clear of Internal Affairs.
