Shiftlings is a platform puzzle game about two alien twins joined by a cable as they make their way through levels toward the goal. It can be played solo or cooperatively: in co-op, each player controls one twin, while solo play lets the player switch control between them.

Changing the twins’ sizes is central to solving puzzles. The smaller twin can jump higher, while the larger one cannot jump but can push boxes and act as a trampoline for its counterpart. The cable connecting them creates obstacles and also provides ways to get through each level.
