This fantasy action role-playing game follows a young man who has lost his memory and finds himself in a city under siege over two magical rings of power. Unsure why the war is being fought, he sets out with his friends to uncover the truth about the world around them.
Players fight in real time, strengthen the hero with more powerful weapons and spells, and bring a changing cast of allies into the adventure. The game also offers cooperative multiplayer. Unlike earlier entries in the series, which focused on first-person role-playing and strategy role-playing, Shining Tears is an action RPG.
