An unusual first-person role-playing game, where instead of a familiar hero, you will control a parasite born in the brackish waters of a coastal city bay. This creature can inhabit the minds of the townspeople, see the world through their eyes, and feed on their emotions and experiences. Using mechanics reminiscent of tabletop role-playing games, the player transforms these emotions into resources, alters the fates of their hosts, and gradually shifts the balance of power throughout the city.
The city itself is going through tough times. The coastal metropolis is in decline, its world built on an unusual premise: here, the "biological computer has surpassed the silicon chip." In other words, the technologies we are familiar with have been replaced by living matter and mycelium — this style has been dubbed "fangalpunk" by the author, a kind of dystopia where biology has taken the place of electronics. The player's task is to guide the residents and the city itself through its "final season."
