Sol Cresta is an arcade shoot ’em up and a sequel to Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta. After humanity is driven from Earth by the Mandler Army, the SOL CRESTA squad sends the Yamato to reclaim the solar system. The ship is made up of three fighters—Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano—that can be assembled during combat.

The central mechanic is free-form docking: fighters can join, split apart, and rearrange, changing the ship’s attacks and available formations. Picking up items brings additional fighters into battle, while choosing how to arrange them helps counter the forces of Mega Zofer. The game also includes a time-limited Caravan Mode with online leaderboards and draws on the music and visual style of classic arcade shooters.
