This fantasy role-playing adventure follows a journey through the Shamutanti Hills and the city-port of Kharé, where the protagonist seeks the Crown of Kings. Sorcery! Parts 1 and 2 covers the first half of the story, taking place in a land of monsters, traps and magic. The player’s choices shape how the narrative unfolds.
Combat combines swordplay with more than fifty spells, while battles revolve around bluffing and striking. The player explores a hand-drawn map, enters buildings in Kharé and can challenge its citizens to a game of cunning and deceit. Choices can be rewound, and equipment, stats and narrative decisions can carry over from one part to the next.
