Space Rogue is a space role-playing strategy game about a ship’s captain and crew exploring a procedurally generated galaxy. The expedition’s goal is up to the player: the crew can fight for peace or turn to piracy, encountering different races and foes ranging from raiders and robots to gigantic space monsters.

Each playthrough brings new events and missions, many with several possible outcomes. The captain takes part in ship-to-ship battles, develops tactics, upgrades the ship, recruits crew members and gains perks. Planets can be explored for minerals, while Sandbox Mode offers settings for world generation, enemy strength, event frequency and other parameters.
